September 18, 2015 - A mother/daughter day out with the girlie. A movie double feature and supper out at KFC!

September 19, 2015 - Lyndon traveled to Toronto to recruit people for expeditions and promote the charity.

September 20, 2015 - Big day for these two. TJ gave a talk in sacrament meeting and was called as the Mia Maid class president. B gave a talk in a stake fireside and was called as the Beehive class president. So proud of these girls!

September 21, 2015 - Tried a funky new hairstyle on this lovely. Kind of a cool horse mane thing happening.

September 23, 2015 - Big day for BB! Her first assembly and speech as the house leader for the Yellow yetis!

September 24, 2015 - YW activity! Tj taught a class on the basics of good photography.

September 26, 2015 - Lyndon and I spent the afternoon photographing an outdoor wedding in a park in town. This photo was actually an accident as I randomly pressed the shutter while walking toward my hubby. I kind of love it!

September 27, 2015 - We enjoyed watching the Super Harvest Blood moon and eclipse, then tried taking photos of the Milky Way.

Spent a couple of hours at Calaway Park with these weirdos before heading back on the highway to make our way west to the Okanagan!

After church we spent a nice quiet evening visiting and letting the dogs get used to each other. Treats always unite!

Today was boating day! We all took turns being pulled on the tube - TJ getting knocked off a few times. A few of the kids (and Lyndon) tried out knee boarding, too. Great times!

A fun and exciting new experience - getting up close and personal with some kangaroos at a Kangaroo farm outside Kelowna. Amazing!

The weather cooperated long enough for us to hike down to this nice, semi-private beach on Kalamalka lake for a swim.

With rainy weather we spent some time visiting local fun spots like Davison Orchard and a bee keeping place. I especially loved all of the sunflowers.

Lazy day in the sun floating down the canal in Enderby. The water was crystal clear and the sandy bottom was paradise. We will definitely do it again!

We were thrilled for one last day in Vernon to boat around Kalamalk lake and spend time jumping off to swim in the crystal clear, turquoise water. It felt like paradise!

JJ was rocking some super poofy hair after taking out her braids. I think she secretly loved it.

JJ chose to celebrate her birthday with just one friend - they went swimming at the leisure center, then out for lunch and shopping at the mall. It was an oh-so-grown-up way to celebrate turning 9!

A first for us - we headed to Red Rock Canyon in Waterton with some of our best friends for a day of exploring, hiking, and some delicious ice cream cones.

Another birthday party - this time with a lot of friends and at the local waterpark. These goofy girls have so much fun together. Lots of giggles (and a few wasps trying to steal the picnic) - a great way to celebrate turning 11!

After enjoying a beautiful baptism of our cousin's daughter, we checked out the Brooks Aquaduct, which is a Provincial Historical site. Very cool that they were able to construct such a thing over 100 years ago - and it still stands.

This girl was baptized and really loved spending time (lots of time) with Aspen. I think this girl needs a dog!

This girl received her Patriarchal Blessing (yesterday) and it was such a special experience. Great things are in store for this special young woman - we feel blessed to have her in our home.

Lyndon and I took on a little project - refinishing the top of our thrift store table to be an nice off-white. It was a learning experience! Phew!

Happy 17th to us! We are still going strong and are more in love than ever. We have learned lots together, grown as a couple and as individuals, had lots of laughs together, and are each other's best friend. Marriage is a wonderful thing.

Oh my heart - these girls. They pooled their money to buy me some goodies from Bath and Body Works - some candles, creams, and a gorgeous candle holder with my favorite, OWLS! They are so thoughtful and generous. I sure love them.
